recently found this new website,
OurStory.com, and I am already really enjoying it. I have always
thought about scrapbooking, but it really just is not for me. I am
not all that crafty when it comes to things like that. But, I do feel
like it is very important to preserve my family's memories.
What I like about
OurStory is the way that it helps you create your scrapbook. If you having a hard time
writing they give you questions to answer. You can also invite other
family members to add to the story and leave comments. This is perfect
for having aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents share their thoughts on a
special event or special day.
I have not done this yet, but you also have the ability to put your story on
DVD or have it made into a physical book. Right now, in
the free version, your stories are viewable to everyone. If there are
things that you want to keep private you can pay for the service.
There are other benefits to the paid service, but that is the one that
appeals to me the most. |
