Lemonade Stand

Who doesn’t love a cold glass of lemonade on hot day? Teach your child about the value of a dollar while selling lemonade.

Create the stand using a table, chairs and any other fun items you’d like to decorate with.
You and your children can design the signs to advertise your new business.
Make some yummy lemonade and discuss volume measurements such as cup, pint and tablespoon.

What you can talk about:

Figure out how much it will cost to start up.
What should you charge for each glass?
How much do you need to sell to make back the start up costs?
Younger children can learn the names of coins and how much they are worth while exchanging money with customers.
